Wanted [USA - MN] Broken GT Remote

So it finally happened... I took a big spill. The wrist guards, knee pads, and helmet did their jobs and I came out unscathed, but my remote trigger didn't make it.

The trigger itself took the brunt of the fall and snapped off from the internal joystick assembly. I took apart the remote and the assembly that needs replacing seems to be a smaller version of the thumb stick mechanisms used on any gaming console. (Xbox, Playstation, etc...) Might be an interesting project for a larger/different sized trigger system!

Of course I want to keep boarding ASAP, so I went to Adafruit.com and got one of these little guys.
Analog 2-axis Thumb Joystick with Select Button + Breakout Board ID: 512 - $5.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits

I haven't gotten it yet and I'm pretty confident in my soldering ability, but from the look of the breakout board the Adafruit joystick may not have the exact connections to be fully compatible with the GT remote.

Plan B is to see if anyone has broken or malfunctioning GT remote they'd be willing to sell! I'd be willing to buy for $20 and pay for shipping. Since it's small, I don't mind international shipping too much.

I'll close up the wanted section. I ended up buying a new remote from Evolve, I still have my old (modified) remote if someone wants to do testing.
