Speed Modes??

I tested the speed on Fast mode and GT mode today using flat paved roads on AT tires and found that both Fast and GT reach the same top speed of 21 mph. I guess this means speed modes above ECO only have one difference and that is power to get up steeper hills or rough terrain... I haven't tested street wheel speed yet, but how fast are you guys going on AT tires in these modes?

I believe Fast and GT give the same top speed but different outputs of torque for acceleration. I have gotten about the same 36kmh(22mph) from AT but have not pushed it any more then that but I feel there is more top speed to be had.

My Bamboo GT (with AT tires) does like 19mph in Eco & 22-23mph in Fast & GT (on flat ground). It did 20mph in Eco & 24-26mph in Fast/GT (with 97mm ABECs)
    Hope that helps

I think you will find that the only speed limited mode is "slow" the other three modes are current limited. If you flip your board upside down "eco", "fast" and "GT" all reach the same speed. The thing is, in practice "eco" mode hardly ever has enough power to reach its top speed so it appears to be speed limited.

    Straight from the Evolve website:

    • SLOW mode will offer around 20% of available power, with a limited top speed – perfect to learn on.
    • ECO mode offers around 40% of available power, with more speed but limited to be ideal for cruising and achieving maximum range.
    • FAST mode offers 60% of available power (still plenty!), and the full range of speed. Our preferred mode for the best balance of performance.
    • GT mode offers the full 100% power available to attack the steepest hills and provide relentless acceleration!
