    1. Include what country (and state if applicable) you're located in, in your thread title at the start.

    For example:

[USA-NY] Evolve Carbon GT For Sale

    2. Select the appropriate thread prefix from the prefix selection box:

    3. Include a description, price and currency, including any applicable shipping costs and where you're willing to ship to.

    4. Include photos with your listing. Ideally take a photo of your username written with thick marker on a piece of paper next to the item you have to sell to prove it's in your possession.

    5. Once the item has sold remember to edit your thread title to change the prefix to 'Sold'. Use the 'Thread Tools' drop down menu at the top of your thread.

If you are not meeting the seller in person and testing the product before you buy it, be sure to get all of their personal details, home address, landline phone number and mobile to reduce the change of being scammed.

Do your homework. Check out the seller, remember you will be sending money to someone you’ve most likely never met and are unlikely to.

Look at previous posts, profile, feedback. If in doubt walk away.

If sending payment via paypal, do not send it using the 'Friend or Family' option. If you do this you will have no recourse with paypal if the transaction goes wrong and will only be saving a few bucks. Think of it as insurance, it's not worth the risk and requesting it as a seller is against Paypal policy.

    Keep negotiations to the thread.

Communicate using the site's conversation system where possible. Scammers frequently give you their email to get your off the site.

Always post packages using some kind of recorded or tracked method for peace of mind. This way you can prove a package was delivered and signed for or not.

Personal sales/trades are run by members and whilst we will try to help if there is a dispute we accept no responsibility (legal or otherwise) for any transactions. Please ensure you have accurate details of the seller/trader should any thing go wrong.
