Would the quick charger end up hurting the battery life in the long run or will it be fine ?? Been thinking about getting it but I don't want to hurt the life of the battery !!

    Thanks !!

    Yes, yes it will.
In saying that Ive been using a fast charger since about 250 cycles in (currently at 402) and the only thing I have noticed is less down time.

The quick charger is not too quick. Standard charge is 1c which for cgt and gtx would be 10A. The quick charger is only a 4A charger.

Deco, so you are saying the quick charger is putting in only 4A compared to the regular at 10A . Is this going to be an issue with battery life or riding mileage ??

10 amps isn’t regular for are boards but that would be a 1c or 1X capacity charge rate. That would change in about 1hr. I charge my RC lipo’s at a 2c 30min charge which are actually rated up to a 5c charge. You won’t have any issues charging at lower rates. Your battery will be just fine. It’s only when you start charging at much higher rates that it can greatly shorten battery life or even be dangerous.

Edit: Also not saying to use more than the fast charger as I’m not sure what the bms and thin gauge charging wires/ connections can handle. Just a long way of saying that the fast charger is fine to use. I personally keep my slow charger for home use and keep my fast charger in my backpack for when I’m out and about.

Deco, ok. Thanks !! Is it ok to keep the battery charger plugged into the board until being used, once its done charging and the green light is on ??

I’ve read it’s ok... but I charge mine 5-6 hours or an hour more after the green light comes on.
Or what I do is I charge before I go to sleep. I sleep between 6-7 hrs, so it’s perfect when I wake up haha...
I’ve used my fast charger twice when I forget to charge and I don’t have time to wait.
Just to play it safe, I use the regular charger. Or when I go for long rides so I can make it back
