New R2 remote shenanigans, need HELP

Hello bois,

I just got the new remote, not sure about the firmware but it just got back in stock in my local evolve shop (France), so I guess (hope) it's the new one.

First of all, the remote doesn't connect at all to the deck (One the V1 Bamboo GT).

So I figured I might wanna switch it to V1 protocol in the settings, and here's the second problem, the ui seems very laggy , like I can see the screen refreshing from top to bottom when a page changes but other than that, the mode buttons are very slow, like they react very slow and if i'm in the menu, pressing up or down rapidly doesn't do anything at all, I have to wait one sec in between presses to go down to the menu I want.

But when I go to the more info settings to get to the Motor secret menu (power button twice, mode 1 button twice), well... I can only get to the Battery info menu. What I think is happening is since I can't double click the top button, it just does nothing in other menus, well my remote thinks i'm just pressing it once and holding, which then get me to the battery menu.

Am I the only one having those problems ?

Little detail : I can actually enter the trigger reset menu by spamming the mode 2 button after double clicking the power twice. Seems that it doesn't register some clicks, but I haven't managed to get in between to get the motor menu which is weird, is it available if the board is disconnected ?
