So I was looking for some replacement motors when I came across a pair. They seem to have the same connectors and sensors that Evolve uses. They’re by flipsky. One is your regular 5065 at either 140 or 200 KV. Brushless DC Motor H5065 140KV 200KV
The other is more interesting, it’s 6368 meaning it’s much bigger than the stock Evolve motors. It the same connectors and is also either 140 or 200 KV. Brushless DC Motor H6368 140KV 1720W
I just wanted to know if these would work stock on Evolves ESC. Also how if would affect the battery and range. Because more power would be lovely.

  2. The regular 200 KV add around 22 amps, which means they run hotter but not by much...I have the 200KV race stars...havent noticed much with range or battery life, however they do run a bit hotter but I'm not dogging it in GT mode going as fast as possible, at 32 mph it gets a little crazy and it feels like it still has more to give.

If my info is right the second pair should also work, though I'm not sure how it would effect battery life or range. Essentially my thought is its a bigger motor with the same amount of copper winding as the standard Evolve motors, you may get a tad bit faster but I think the bigger size and same Kv but will give you more torque, not sure though.
