How do you ship and Evolve skateboard

There doesn't seem to be clear documentation on shipping electric skateboards. Does anyone have an approach that worked for them in the continental US?

I have heard about getting a lamp box from U-Haul and using shipping peanuts. That seems like a good idea but I can't find anything about lithium ion battery guidelines etc. and I don't want to have anything happen. I understand it won't be cheap so money isn't the issue, just trying to figure out the ins/outs surrounding the batteries.
