Sorry about the delay in replying
The lights are held on with rubber bands which come with the lights, the battery pack is held on top in place with hook and loop tape so the lights and batteries can be removed in a minute ,hope this helps 20170426_123946.jpg 20170426_124157.jpg 20170426_124322.jpg 20170426_123946.jpg 20170426_124322.jpg https://evolveforums.com/members/swimmingintoast.661/

I vinyl paint my rims, sadly there isn't a huge range of colours but it's one of the easiest ways to customize.

Thanks. I watched the black/yellow swirl video in the third post down on page one of this thread. I think they use magic marble paint, which is easier to use, but must be ordered online. If you type "borax swirl paint" into Google there will be a bunch of pages on how to do a swirl with other oil based paints and water treated with borax. I used Testors glossy enamel paint.

DId you just tape off all the wheels?

Yes exactly. Even if paint gets on the wheel itself it will scratch off very easily. Paint isn't made to adhere to soft urethane.

I wanted to personalise my board a bit, so I hand cut and applied the griptape (Jessup and Vicious) using a design I borrowed from a nice gentleman in Switzerland (thanks Carpi), did some work on the wheels (peelable paint), and bumpers from Bumper Board Shop. Lights are inbound from Shredlights, and "hover board" LED's are ready to be installed under the deck. That should do for now...

I just bought some 4D carbon vinyl wrap on eBay. Was simple to put on, and trimmed the sides carefully with a razor blade to make it fit perfectly.

Thank you! Your Carbon looks awesome! Love the green and black! Really makes the board pop!
