    Hi,

    Need explanations with todays situation.

    First situation overview:
Battery was charged only once after buying board few days ago. It was my second ride. Battery at start was 99%. It was about 2 degrees celsius outside (motors were cold). I weight 118kg. As for this moment battery meter indicates: 64-62% (it fluctuates)

First I rode downhill using breaks for about 1.5km. Then back uphill on Fast. I repeated this bout 3 times.
On the last climb (on GT mode) when I looked at remote I saw that battery level was decreasing rapidly when accelerating and increasing when going without acceleration. It was on ECO. I could and did change it to GT and board suddenly accelerated as expected. Taking hill like a flat road. When I stopped it changed again to ECO.

I did find someone with same story. I quote:
"When I started riding again I noticed it was in ECO mode, I am sure I was in GT while going up the hill. On the rest of my ride back I watched the remote and the battery levels were all over the place, it would show as low as 12% and then at times it would jump back to mid 50%'s. And a few more times it switched back to ECO mode on me. By the time I was almost back home it seemed like the battery was dead, but when I would stop the battery was showing over 40% but by the way it was preforming im pretty sure if I had to go any further I would have been walking. Are these typical experiences when the battery is getting low? My overall ride was around 5 miles and I was testing out all the modes? I had the AT tires on."

Guys what is going on with my board?

    btw

Does braking decrease battery level or actually charge batteries?

Braking recharges the battery. Its called Regenerative Braking.

Battery on the remote will go up and down as its a real time reading if you was to continue at that speed/incline. So when you get off the board it goes up, when you go up a hill it goes down, when you get to stop goes back up. Also cold temperature has a big effect on your range, battries dont like it.

Its in the manual, voltage will drop on an incline in fast or GT. That sets off a protection that shifts the board into ECO mode so not to damage any components. You can flip back to Fast or GT again if it was only due to the "hill"

Same thing happens here but it is cold here too so we may be on to something there. Also I have the carbon gt and am currently using the at setup. Mine was switching to eco pretty much every time I stop, going uphill was fine as long as I was in fast before I started going up.
My power was dropping as low as 4% and going back to 45ish.
