    They are all trying so hard to be different. Imagine if they put all that R&D into a board like the GT. Silent motors and app selectable settings to suit your riding style preference.
    Get over Back to the future. We don't need our board to feel like it's hovering!

    It's really good fun!! I've had a go few times and really enjoyed it. Couldn't imagine going to work on it but for some fun blasting about it's great! Really cool way you turn etc. Shame price is so high as would love one as a toy!! ;)

    There's been some big drama with regards to patent infringement accusations between Future Motion (One Wheel) and a Chinese manufacturer of a similar product from Changzhou.

    One wheel managed to convince a judge that Changzhou had infringed on their patents and got the FBI to raid their booth at CES, confiscating their boards.

    When they realised it might cost up to $1M to see the case through to final judgement they dropped the case, so now Changzhou is countersuing for $100k in damages plus attorney's fees due to alleged lost business and damage to their reputation!
