I just now received my new 2nd Gen Bamboo Street. I am trying to pair remote with board but green light keep blinking. I tried operating boarding and looks like that it working fine (even though I have not tried it outside) in terms of going forward and backward.

Both remote and board are fully charged.

    I am following these steps:

    1. Turn on the board. Light flash from blue to red continuously.
    2. Press on/off button on the remote.
    3. Green light flash.
    4. Press reverse button.

Why green light on remote keep flashing? Anyway to resolve this issue?

Green light on remote flashes on the new gen2 remotes. It has stronger signal therefore better connection with board. Nowt to worry about :punch::megathumbsup:

Great, I also found this on USA troubleshooting web page:

    Troubleshooting
    • green light is flashing = remote needs to be paired with the board. To pair the remote with your board press the reverse button once.
    • green light flickering = remote signal is set at maximum strength and range.

    Mine is flickering.

However manual says, it should be solid, which made me believe that remote is not synced.

Thanks Andy for your reply :)

Yeah the manual is out of date. Distance control used to be enabled and the green was solid. But this resulted in weaker Bluetooth signal and you got a lots more cut outs with power cables in ground etc. The new remote switches off distance control by default that's why green is flickering. Much better I found

Yes I also had a problem with my connection with the remote in solid green light. I got frustrated and pressed all the buttons at ones and suddenly I had the flickering green light with a great connection. So maybe somebody knows how to press the buttons to get the flickering green light, because it will help a lot of people with a bad connection and a gen2 remote without having to do the troubleshooting of evolve and opening the receiver case.

Some of the older remotes wont flash green, its was only the newer ones. The way to change the distance control is the same on both tho, you just can tell on the older remotes easy where the green light stays solid. You press the right hand button quickly 4 times after you have switched it on.

Thanks for the reply. So the idea that carbon is blocking the signal is not true, it is just the remote which gives a low signal. I just did a test drive and didn't have any issues with the connection if the remote is green flickering. So thanks for the advice, I will also try this trick with the remote of my bamboo to improve the signal:thumbsup:
By the way am I the only one who still likes and prefer his old street bamboo for carving although I also own a bamboo GT?
