whatcha think of it so far? I'm thinking of using a 30t motor gear. I am currently waiting for my 23t drive gear to come in the mail. Evolve | Board Bumpers | Accessories

I am really interested to see the results.

Whoa! wtf.. Just right now trying to wrap my head around how that will affect your distance/speed... crazy man, am intrigued. As for the switch to STEEL, so far awesome. my belt no longer slips on hard braking or downhill. very solid. yep, those aluminum pulley were sht. probably of those component they use to keep overall weight down. heh, when i first started riding my board, i was SCARING THE **** out of everyone i would fly by....lol.. so i played with the belt tension alot to try to keep NOISE down. i think that is where my pulleys started to wear out, and once it starts they deteriorate quick! noting to be done about the noise though.... still scarin people.
lmk where to follow the results of this pulley setup of yours please

I actually got my 23t drivegears in the mail last night! I haven't had a chance to try them out yet, I currently have them on my 97mm flywheels even though i know its not recommended, I'll be switching them over to the stock 83mm's tonight. Something tells me I should of ordered the 29t set instead.

I'm honestly super nervous about switching my pulleys. I'm afraid I'm going to mess something up.

Wait, let me get this straight. You're going to install a 30T motor pulley along with 23T drive gear on 83mm wheels? That's over 60 mph and I don't think the motors can handle the current safely to get there. You could stick with the stock motor pulley and go 30 mph which seems more realistic. If you got just the 29T drive gear along with 97 wheels, you would have gotten like 28-29 mph.
