Board/deck Q????

I have the Bamboo GT with AT setup. Was wondering can I buy just the GTX board and use everything from my GT including battery on the GTX Board? Everything on my GT works flawlessly so far......so I don' want to upgrade anything just yet, just the board.......im also beginnng to see splits and cracks on the GT board....not a big deal ....mainly want more grip.....and new board being able to upgrade to bigger battery later.....

 

I'm pretty confident that the Two decks should be interchangeable for your intended purpose. The main difference with the GTX deck is the recess machined into the underside to accommodate the Thicker battery pack used on the GTX. This Thinner area of the GTX deck, along the entire length of the battery compartment, is what gives the GTX deck more Flex compared to the Standard Bamboo GT deck. Other than that, the Two decks are pretty much identical, so all your hardware should interchange without any drama! Hope that helps with your decision to upgrade.
