    Hi :)

I recently had some Problems with my R2 Remote.

My R2 Remote activated the brake during cruise without pressing the brake button.

Does anyone else had such Problems - and are there maybe solutions for this problem?

    Best regards

Try recalibrating the limits of the brake and throttle switches through the hidden menu. Evolve youtube videos show you how to get to it. Additionally make sure you are not even resting your thumb on the brake button while cruising, else it will stop your acceleration and you will start to coast.

Thx for the tip. I will try to reconfigure the remote.

I didn’t had my thumb on the brake button resting! I am not stupid.

It seams that this wheel locking problem is happening very often...

Evolve should find a solution for this problem...

Ok not calling you stupid, just mentioning that if there is even the slightest resting on the brake it can sense it, I had this problem myself.

During calibration you can cheat the brake a little to prevent any false sensing or thumb resting by starting the brake calibration’s resting position calibration very slightly depressed in.

Perhaps you have some other signal disconnect at the speed controller or like my other posts the board’s power switch leads have an issue and are cutting power off under vibration or foot weight. Check under the silicone glue to the power connectors to ensure the leads arent starting to split.

    Good luck

    Hi Mike
As mentioned above, your brake lever setting may be within the operating range of the limits. This means any movement of the lever may cut acceleration, even though the input probably won't be strong enough to apply brakes.
How long have you had the board?
If you are unsure on how the triggers should be set, take a photo of the setting screen and email Evolve for support.
    Hope this helps,
    Nick
