How many of you guys are still using the 32t for the 107mm wheels instead of 38t.I read the chart and it will drop 5 MPH for the 38t .States more torque with the 38t ,Better ?? I hate to loose speed but if its a better ride than it outweighs the speed ?? .Whats your thoughts ?? Thanks !!

  2. I'm using the 32T, never tried 38T, but I like the way it smooth the board!

Thanks. I hate to loose the speed and we do not have hills in Florida so the torque isn't as important i would think .

I was recommended the 38T when I purchased the 107mm wheels. Is it true that the 32T is quicker?

Thats what i hear !! The 38 has more torque and great for hills and the 32 more top speed .I still have the 32 with my 107MM .Fast !!

I have the 36t from board bumpers. Never tried the 38t, but the 36t makes riding the 107s feel just like the 97/32 combo. Acceleration and braking feel the same. Top speed is about the same too.

Not sure I like the 107s though personally, may switch back to 97.

Hi what setting do you have the R2 on if using 36t as it’s not in the remote so will not read correctly
    Cheers

I have it on the 107/38t setting. I did some tests with the gps on my phone and found that it was fairly close. Under 15mph its only around 1 mph lower than actual speed. This increases slightly as the speed increases. My guess is that when the remote is reading 22mph, you are actually doing cloer to 24mph.

Realistically not enough of a difference to really matter.

  9. I think you would need the 38T to feel any difference. You could drop to 97s with the 38s and see how that feels. You should get at least 20 ish % more torque with that setup.
