Mounting lights to a new GTX thinking shred lights on the front? whats best on the rear?

So I've already decided i would like some lights on the board. (board hasn't arrived yet, needless to say I'm itching to get it)

the Shred lights look pretty decent. and look like they would fit under the front nicely, but the rears look like they would have to be mounted on top otherwise they would be obscured by the motors. I'm not sure i like the idea of having the lights mounted on the top of the deck.

is the best solution shred lights at the front and then a clip on truck mount on the rear?

    Any advice gratefully received.

Get the serfas thunderbolt rear light. Works a treat as its wrapped around the rear truck.

Shred lights In the rear is fine too. The red bright light bounces off ground and it's sufficient enough to see from far. Google videos of it.

    Thanks for your replies folks.

I decided I wanted the lights underneath so I can't kick them by mistake.

I was worried the shred lights on the rear would be obscured by the motors, and be a bit fiddly down there with the wiring. I looked at surfas from evolve, but quite expensive for just a rear light, so I bought this from amazon and shred lights up front.

My board finally arrived. they shipped with r1 for now. Anyway the rear light works nicely on the rear truck. you have to pull the truck off to put the rubber band on, but good visibility from behind, bright, and easily accessible.

For anyone else fitting shreds to the underside of the front of the gtx. you need to bend the shred mounting plates to get them to fit. Or use some elaborate spacers and longer bolts. I quite liked the look of the factory bolts so chose to bend the shred plates.

Just been for my first burn (in the dark of course its winter and I've been at work today)

    Amazing machine!

I know everyone loves the pics, so this is the rear light I chose. Link in my previous post above from amazon
