GTX/R2/R1 Connection loss when I hit bumps

I have the 97mm street wheels and when I hit a bump in the sidewalk or pavement the battery will drop to zero percent and then go into safe mode. I have to power down and restart and then all is good. It is super annoying. It happens on both remotes.

    Anyone else have this problem?

I also noticed that the battery indicator for the board battery on the R2 remote flickers out every few seconds or so. Does anyone else notice this?

Evolve wants me to send the board back to them but I am hesitant to pay for shipping. I asked if they offer controller board replacements so maybe they will send me a new circuit board.

    Any help is appreciated.

After fighting disconnects for a month, I tried twisting the battery and motor cables yesterday = not a single disconnect in 9mi total riding, including over bumps that would prompt a disco before the fix. Twisting the battery and motor cables helps reduce the electromagnetic field generated when heavy current is drawn. One of the motor cables runs right past the RF board. I experienced disconnects when drawing lots of current from heavy acceleration, and most often when going over bumps. My first guess was that I had a loose connection, but methinks that going over a bump or through a rut also causes a spike in current to the motors = briefly increased interference.
