    Hey all,

Have anyone tried the 150mm tires on the 175mm kit?

I mean, the 150 tires on 175 inners, hubs and gears?

Yes, I know the max speed will go down, but would it fit? I'm running 97mm with the 38t gear and I avoid the AT kit because of the lack of punch/torque and rolling, if I can reach 25km/h that should be enough for my use.

    Thanks!

I haven't done much with my AT wheels, but I have experimented with the abec 107 and slick revolution 120 wheels, with the 38 tooth gear. These are both great combos for crappy street surfaces, and you'll easily crack 30kph.

So... Give the 150mm a try and let me know what you think. Plus post a link to the shop where the rubber is sold

the 6” tires use the same hubs as the 7”.. they were designed to use 47t gears to retain “comparable speed” to the 7”/66t setup. You can use 6” on 66t (high torque, lower top speed) which is same gearing setup as the 7”. Evolve does not recommend using 7” on 47t.

    6”/47t =
    6”/66t =
    7”/66t =
    7”/47t = ☠️

    Thank you for the input!

    150mm tyre.
175mm tyre. (the one I have is the old thread, same thread on the 150mm one)
    Inner tube.

On inner tube page there is a combo to select 6" or 7", I'm assuming they are different.

97mm/38t is my preferred at the moment. I've tried:
    97mm/32t - I prefer the torque in the 38t.
107mm/38t - Too heavy, slower response.
7"/66t - Nice comfort, but low torque.

I want to try the 6"/66t but don't want to by extra inner tubes. I guess I'll give it a try and see how that goes.

Get the trampa urban treads 6.5”... it’ll give you a happy medium.. carves hard like a 6”, but rides softer like the 7”.. plus, they’re cheap and can use the 7” tubes. Just be very careful tightening your hubs to not pinch the tube.
