Bamboo GT motor whine

This is coming from the port-side motor only (the right one in the video)



Anyone experience this running flat out ?
(its not that annoying - and the motor temp is a few degrees within the other one) - just curious more than anything, its not like you can actually use full throttle on these boards for long - lol

 

I would check this with Evolve support. Should not sound like that and might be no issue but if your board is under warranty then you should definitely check this.

 

I have the same problem. One motor is much louder. And it's actully a replacment motor. The first one completely stopped working. Did you end up replacing the motor?

 

No it still works - the whine is loudest under acceleration then calms down when cruising (letting up on the throttle) - I figure as long as it still works I'll keep it - the noise isn't that bad - save one more motor going in the landfill.
(it seems worse on that video - doesn't sound as loud outside when cruising)
