Skated right past a cop car (Sydney suburban)

Literally skated past a cop car on a suburban Sydney road with no incident:

Anyone have stories of being stopped (or fined?) We all know it is illegal here in Sydney to ride Evolve Skateboards on the road...

I've only had one cop in (Tasmania) stop me on my board who I swiftly dispatched with some lovely legal stats where he wen't quiet.

Luckily cops are generally less intelligent than regular people which made it easy.

 

I'd say we both got lucky - all I hope is that when they do give me a ticket (because I feel it will definitely occur at some point) I have my camera rolling to capture it all!

 

People should be arrested for not walking to either side of a track instead of zig zagging. That would be great.

 

I heartedly agree with this!! And the "keep left unless overtaking" road rule should be enforced as a fine for not!! Australia is THE WORST for this ****. I hate driving in this country. Too much ego.

 

True, draw lines on the fucker and have foot police everywhere, It'll cost a f load but it's worth it lol.

 

I went past two cop cars last week. Canberra. One on the road, they gave me the big stare but no action (I bolted up through a block of flats just to be sure) and then right through the middle of the bus interchange here in cbd, a definite nono. Again, just funny looks...maybe they will take action next time. Fast mode is handy for.cops on foot! lol.

 

Keep us posted Roger, I feel this might not be the last time you see these cops out there!
