I am having problems with my carbon gt battery cover lifting up .

The threads for the battery cover countersunk bolts are flogged out .

When the cover is not bolted down tight on every fixing point it creates the possibility of sand or water to get into the chipboard s where battery is .

Has anyone come across this problem and has successfully fixed it ? If so how ?

I am thinking that I will go one size up and tap the thread out or insert a re coil thread into existing holes

Im new to the evolve skateboards so not sure what the thread are made out of plastic? metal?

I would check out helicoils if metal or insert nuts if it its plastic....

go a size up in screw/bolt if you have to.... each size increase gives lots more surface area (holding power.)
