whats good people?! I’ll tell ya what’s good with me, my bitchin Bamboo GT AT that was just delivered yesterday. Soon to be the ripe old age of 50 and decided I needed a faster way around Manhattan and Brooklyn. Grew up skating, surfing, and snowboarding and decided I had to have an Eboard when I seen them. Put 10 miles on it yesterday for my 1st ride, and I’m hooked. What a blast !! Looking forward to seeing others on the street !
Welcome !!! Enjoy that Bamboo .There are a lot of guys who grew up skating [including myself] That are your age and doing it again . You should have no problem finding people to ride with in you area .I see a lot of youtube videos from your area
I'm Good for you I got one about six months ago. I couldn't see myself sitting in a recliner rotting away like my dad at the age of 50 and it's the best thing I ever did I'm having a blast here in Southern California.
I to am almost 50, however pretty much never skateboarded before a couple of years ago, and then promptly broke a bone in my foot at the skate park... I bought my GTX at the start of the year, and after a slow month of getting used to riding it, it has been my daily commute for almost 7 months now (except on rainy days). I have saved more than I payed for it in just parking and petrol so I just passed that GTX onto one of my kids as it has between 3000 and 4000Ks on it and the battery was starting to struggle a bit. (so now I have a skateboarding buddy on the weekends ) So enjoy, they are totally awesome
