Wiring and Pairing Issue Carbon [Solved]

G'day guys, Last week I went for a ride on my carbon. Got home and put it on charge. When I took it off to charge I noted that theres a small what looks to be an earth wire connected to the truck bolts. This was actually broken. It appears that there is a red and black wire that both connected to this terminal. (Just checking that these two wires are actually connected together as they are so small I can't see well enough) please confirm.

I'm also having trouble pairing the remote to the board. I have read the instructions on the website and it states to press the reverse button once. I have tried this but it is unsuccessful. I note that the Remote Green LED is Flashing FAST and the Board is Flashing BLUE/RED SLOW. Would this be anything to do with the wire that is bolted to the truck chassis? I Any help is appreciated
