Finally the wait is over I have her safe at home. After getting sent by courier and then passed onto Auspost I was unable to track my board. 7 days in total from postage to house. I live 8 hrs away from Gold coast but hey its here now.

    First impressions.
I have skated for over 15yrs mostly longboarding so i thought this would be a breeze
exactly what i expected it to be like, fun fast and scary at times.
The board came set up in street mode so first ride was left as is, It had rained a few hours before the ride but being 36 it dried up on the road very quickly.
I enjoyed the size of the board (i have big feet), i loved the feel of the trucks on the board probably not so much for a cruiser.
The power up the hills was amazing.
The hardest part to get used to is accelerating and braking when skating you are pushing and transferring weight automatically but with this i suspect i will get more used to adjusting to it as i get more hours on the board.

    The bad
Not much bad, the greasy bit of road i hit while a was carving on the throttle causing my fresh shinny wheels to loose traction and me to hit the asphalt not the best experience but a familiar part of skating. my fault totally unbroken wheels with acceleration causing loosing traction. Skin can heal and lesson learned.

The only real problem i had was with the remote, I was going up a slight hill in fast mode. Holding the throttle at around 15km/hr and very steady the remote cut in and out a few times in short bursts. I tried the same hill again same speed and paying attention to the remote and throttle not to move it. same result.

I also had it suddenly accelerate from under me wile on a flat with the board flying out from under me, i jumped back on and concentrated more on my trigger finger and smooth accelerating, started to cruise and same thing happened.

I have turned off and back on resyncing the board and remote, but not much of a ride home from that point.

Sorry for the long post but wanted to share my experiences

It sounds like you could have issues worth checking out. Contact Evolve and let them know about any issues, could be a bad motor controller, or a remote.

Thanks for the suggestion, I am going to try and ride it some more over the weekend and nail down exactly when it happens and try not to be caught off guard by it and hit the pavement again ;)

Had mine a few weeks now, and enjoying it very much, still have not had a fall yet. (but i guess it is just a matter of time).

As for the remote, I have not experienced any cut outs at all, or un-commanded acceleration, and I have been expecting it....after reading other posts.
One thing I do however is repair on a regular basis, to re-establish the remote link to the board, only takes a few seconds.
I would also suggest turning off any other Bluetooth devices you might be carrying like a mobile phone, as a precaution.....they should not interfere with each other, but the bluetooth protocol is not perfect....and better safe than sorry

It haas been good for the past 4 days, muscle memory and finger memory are kicking in and making the rides flawless. also I have the AT wheels on now and they make everything more mellow and amazing!

street wheels make it a motorised skateboard (what you expect) but the AT wheels make it a vehicle an amazing vehicle
