I've been riding electric skateboards for around 4 months now. I started down the DIY route first which was good, but also time consuming and, at times, a waste of money. So I recently decided to 'bite the bullet' and purchase an Evolve Bamboo GT with AT wheels. So far I'm very happy with the board and performance.

I commute daily (weather permitting) on my board around 6 kms to, and from, the train station (12 kms daily), so I'm looking at either buying or creating a reliable way of transporting my board since dragging it behind me through metro stations and streets is annoying. I know there is the Evolve Backpack but from reading the reviews, if I use it daily the backpack will quickly deteriorate due to the tiny zips in the board section. So I'd have to DIY it to make it more robust. But I feel I shouldn't have to DIY a $150 backpack!

I might create a type of sling and if it works out I'll share with everyone. I know Evolve also sell a sling but it's currently unavailable and I can't be bothered waiting...
