    Hey there fellow riders,
After almost fifteen years of commuting daily by longboard skateboards yesterday I enjoyed my first 18-20 miles on my Bamboo GT & loved every single minute of it.The darn thing is a superb machine & I couldn’t ask for anything better from a retailer whom produces such a product on mass scale. That being said it’s a wee bit heavy compared to what I’m used to at 17ish lbs with most of my dedicated distance longboards weighing in at probably 10-11lbs.The things a total blast & more than enough for me on eco mode as the torque on the higher settings is just plain crazy.I’m contemplating forking the tail & removing the middle section of the truck assemblies in order to lower the thing & gain some stability as well as a bushing replacement, powell ribs on the battery box & of course some bearings with built in spacers & speedrings to alleviate any road noise.

All that being said even after fifteen years of riding boards on hills,in garages & just slashing around the cities at night I can totally understand why these things as well as other boards constantly show up for second sales. They’re crazy & riding them may seem inconceivable or practically impossible for inexperienced riders.I was totally taken by surprise but the thing delivers more than I could’ve wished for & I’m totally looking foward to it being fully charged so I can get back out on the road & do some more thrashing. With average speeds of 7.1 mph for motor vehicles in NYC I can totally see the proliferation of such vehicles as we move into the future.Safely operating them in urban environments is not only feasible but extremely fun on part of mockingly stopping at intersections with the ultra smooth regenerative breaking. The things are 21st century as a mofo & loads of fun.

Welcome !! Eco mode is good to learn but after awhile you will find yourself trying the GT mode and liking it

That’s true.I haven’t used the GT mode so much but I definitely use the fast mode.I think the torque of the GT mode is a bit much for all the starting & stopping I do while riding.Definetly tons of fun though.
