    Hi!

I am 29 years old Evolve GT Carbon owner. I was always been interested in electric type, easy to carry vehicle and now i got it!
Before evolve i bought an Benchwheel B2 electric longboard and i was not satisfied with it at all. On the paper the Benchwheel have almost the same specs ( Exept the range ) but in real life it was terrible torque and top speed.

I thought that maybe evolve GT is the same thing, maybe it is waste of money BUT when i received it and tested it for the first time i was very impressed.
Even with an AT wheels it is a real power machine!
And i am not an light guy, my weight is 100kg+ the backpack and clothes.
Only what i am experiencing that on AT wheels in GT mode hill climbing it drops battery very quick and drops to eco mode, but it restores after a little drive on flat.

So, after all hello to everybody from Finland, here i am in Pirkkala!
If someone lives nearby please contact me, maybe groupride?

  2. HI Xrust, very jealous that you live a lot closer to be able to try the "unik" board from France. I think it's similar to evolve's GT but smaller battery and board size. Enjoy your carbon GT :) Riding up hills, sometimes have to sacrifice a bit of speed, ease off on the trigger etc.. to find the sweet spot.

Thank you Andrew for reply on my post. The unikboard looks interesting, and they sell DIY stuff. I am a DIY person so maybe sometime i will try to build my own Eboard.
You are right about the trigger sweet spot in GT, i found that if i am climbing the hill and the boards is slowing down there is no reason to pull the trigger to max, it wont help or increase the speed it just drains battery faster because it tries to pump more juice of battery!

Thank you for your advice, there is a more thing to learn. Example the trucks tightness, the first i tightened the trucks to gain more stability in fast drive. But i realize that in slow speed i loss all maneurevability. So for beginners, don't overtight the trucks, learn to handle the board with your feets. When your muscels get stronger the top speed stability will be better.
