Hello from The Netherlands, my name is Gies.
I joined this forum 2 weeks ago and have been lurking ever since. This electric skateboarding fenomenon woke me up, I was a fanatic skateboarder in my teens, some 45 years ago ... :joy:
Before purchasing a Carbon GT board I wanted to read about it and joining makes reading this forum a lot easier.
This is what I ordered 10 minutes ago from Evolve Germany, just curious how long I have to wait … ;p

    See you. [IMG]

Thanks, I'm patiently waiting for the mailman now.
Arnhem ..., vanwege je pin op de user map dacht ik dat je omgeving Soestduinen woonde.

Just came back from my first ride on a CGT ever, it was cold but I couldn't stop smiling.
After 35 minutes of accelerating, carving and braking in all modes I did 8,2 km and topped at 35 km/h in GT mode.

Ha those GT wheels look mad. Did they come with your board or did you get them from somewhere else?

I bought these MBS T3 tyres from Evolve Germany. This Australian "Scooter Hut" sells them.

My first try at making a skateboard video, I still have a lot to learn.

My first try at making a skateboard video was more difficult than I expected, these were some of my rookie mistakes.
    - The pass was to close to the camera and wanted to stop in the center
    - I had to remove a branch from the beltcover
    - You now know what shoes I wear
    - I need a stabilizer of some sort
    - The camera wasn’t screwed down properly
    - I lost the camera at one point
    - I need a better tripod or clamp
    - Meet my trouser leg
    - The high speed shot and the fun shots at the end were OK
Making a nice video is all about location, preparation, the right equipment, full batteries etc. You have to shoot a lot for just a short video, I will be back with another video.
