Hello from Jacksonville, Florida!

I am sitting on my couch right now checking the driveway every 5 minutes, waiting for UPS to deliver my Bamboo GT board! I feel like a kid at Christmas. I've got my shoes, pads, and helmet on so I can jump on it as soon as I get it out of the box! I feel a little silly, really.

I have never really skated before, I just recently got comfortable even standing on a skateboard but now am able to ride around in slow mode on my boyfriend's Carbon GT. I fell off it a day ago, scraped my knee and elbow a bit, but I'm excited to get better and take it up a notch to ECO mode soon! We have plans to skate the Jacksonville River Walk downtown, and hopefully make some cool videos.

I'm happy to be here and hope to meet other Evolve riders from Florida and around the world!

Thank you! Oh, I learned my lesson; I'm never riding without safety gear ever again.

 

It was from a few days ago practicing on my boyfriend's Carbon GT. I'm getting better. Plan to practice more often now that I have my own board. Thank you for the warm welcome to this forum!
