Evolve GT Carbon ESC/Motor Controller Compatibility

Hi all

My Evolve GT Carbon ESC got wet and fried. I have found a 2nd hand replacement but it's from a GTX.

Will this work in my GT Carbon? Will the original remote work as well or is it permanently paired to the original ESC?

Any advice appreciated

 

Yes you can as far I concern the esc and remote will work with all gt series , carbon, bamboo and gtx but there is only one catch just make sure that the esc is the same model as the r2 it has nothing to do with the v1 and v2 am not sure if is only the esc but there is a old version and newer version of the esc that evolve sells and those won't work with the old r2 remote ( the remote that evolve offer for free to update if you send the r2 to them ) I know this cause learned the hard way buying two r2 because of that.
