Difference between GTX and second generation?

So I'm really happy with my current Bustin limited edition, but I'm seeing that the GTX has a far longer range, and that's tempting.. Thinking about using a GTX battery on my Bustin board.. But I also see that it has two engines now. That's a thing I have not missed at all, and all I can think of is that it will not roll as good as the older model? I guess it has more resistance? I'm not sure it will be worth the upgrade for me. What do you think guys?
