   How do the bamboo and carbon boards differ, performance wise ? Is one easier to ride than the other ?
   
   About to take the plunge, but which one do I buy ?

   I've had both. The Bamboo is sweeter to ride. The flex makes it carve nicely. The carbon has better range. Now that the GTX is out it probably makes more sense to get the GTX.
   
   One more note. The Carbon is easier to waterproof.
