    Hello
I road my Bamboo one for the first time yesterday for about an hour and really love the way it carved, smoothness, speed.
The issue was the the board has disconnected twice in an hour session. No big deal....I just turn everything off and back on and I was on my way. The questions are....is the problem from the remote? Board?
Will the G2 remote remedy this issue? What is Evolve doing to fix this issue?
I've had a $500 board before this and never had this issue.
    Appreciated your input. Thanks

i think its the boards radio receiver been blocked by other signals nearby.

in a similar way i have two radios in my truck one is vhf the other is uhf, now if i transmit on vhf band it mutes all incoming signals on my uhf set because the receiver is overwhelmed it cannot discern a recognized uhf carrier wave so its squelch gate closes. if a signal is strong and close enough like in my truck it will wipe out every channel on the uhf but if the signal is just a little weaker it will mostly affect only select frequencies that it more closely resonates with.

iv been taking notice of disconects, their number and locations of occurrence. it seems to me something similar is happening.

almost always if i just power cycle the remote it selects a new channel and is fine, if i try to just keep riding they continue pushing me back to safe mode repeatedly untill iv left the area.

it will have to be the same since it doesn't come with a board upgrade and will be talking to the existing receiver, a different circut layout in the new remote could possibly have a better antenna position in relation to the way it's held ? maybe increase signal by a few more milliwatts if legally allowed ? keep in mind some countries are very strict on transmission power for civilian devices especialy the US. small changes like these can help but fcc regulations clearly state that civilian devices like these must accept any interference and must not produce interference so there is only so much you can do.
