I get about 7 miles on AT but in fast, I can get more of in eco but find it too slow with AT setup

Depending on riding conditions, temperature, etc I can get 6-10 miles on my Bamboo GT with the 7" Evolve road AT tires @ 50psi

Got 10kms today on fast with AT wheels @ 50psi tackled a big hill at the start of the ride and a few hills on the way.

I wonder what pressures everyone is riding or if we can get slick road tyres :)

35psi on the GT's Evolve dont rec going higher although some do! I used to do 45 on my old boards but found 35/40 works well with GT:)

It says 50psi on the side of the tyre. I seen the off road tyres say 36psi.
I was thinking to drop it down a smidge but 50 seems ok

Yeah there was a batch that seem to go out with 50 I have some too, 35 is what its meant to be, lower you go more grip but less range!

My street ATs say 50psi, but the knobby ATs say 36psi. I run approximately 42psi in the knobbies & 52psi in the streets

My AT tyres say inflate to 50psi as well, but they seem a bit too hard so for my next ride will try about 35 to 40 psi

Both the Evolve knobby & street ATs ride nice at 30-36psi, but range suffers a bit, especially on pavement. Dirt & grass rising sucks the range regardless, but it's Fun!!

My Bamboo AT came with the tires at 65-70 psi!!!! Lowered them to 55 cause it says on the tire 50 max. They are hard as a rock and hardly any wear after 400+ miles. I've never run the battery below 50% and usually go 5-6 miles and get back at 65-70 percent on battery. Liteweight at 150#, mostly flat using FAST and ECO on pavement and average speed of 14-17 mph. After I get back from a trip will just go round and round the neighborhood until it gets to 10% and see what range is. Pretty warm here in Texas-most days temp in 70's

With low temperature, not complete flat surface and making lot of curves I got 10kms doing everything in Fast

Has anyone of you tried to ''hook up'' evolve''s battery to a smart charger or at least a wattmeter to see how much capacity/power does it actually deliver?

I've seen that it is mentioned that Bamboo GT got 6.5Ah battery but Carbon has 10Ah battery.. some even said that Bamboo should have got 7.5Ah, if the same cells were used for both boards..

So I assume this means that with 6.5Ah battery at (36v nom) = 234 Wh, which would give me a 'watthours per km' rating of about:

    234Wh / 20km (12.43miles) = 11.7 W/km (super eco?)
    234 Wh / 16 km (10miles) = 14.63 Wh/km (eco mode)
    234 Wh / 11.27 km (7miles) = 20.75 Wh / km (fast mode)

This is assuming the battery does deliver 234Wh, in practice, it could be a bit less, say 5% less, so that could also influence the final ratings a bit.. but not that much off..

On a side note.. havent seen inside bamboo, but if there's some space left, it should be possible to mount a wattmeter inside..

I was at about 8 miles or so between 4 trips (2 nearly 3 miles trips, and the other two were close to a mile each). I think I had about 30-35% left?

I weigh probably about 165 lbs, and with everything I had, I probably had about 175 pounds worth for most of it, and 190 for about the last mile?

Edit: I ride exclusively in Eco right now. I'm not quite comfortable to move up to Fast on my GT Bamboo yet

  18. I had about 18km last week on my CGT, and I always run in ECO mode (can't seem to find much difference between ECO, Fast and GT... I can go +30 km/h on the 3 modes). I did set my tyres on 50 PSI for this ride and got more miles out of my battery, but the ride is pretty hard. So will go down like Andy suggested to about 40 PSI. The battery indicated I have 28% but as you know when you squeeze the trigger the percentage dorps fast. Just before I ended my run I had to take a little bridge and I went up very slow with the bat-level at 4-5 %.

Did .5km circles on gt for about 10k accelerating and slowing down often on flatland pavement with AT. At around 10km it went into eco mode and i cruised at steady 21kmh for the remainder. I could of done a bit more but it started to drizzle. It was at 12% charge (during riding) when i quit.

If you can't notice the difference between modes something is wrong. They are drastically different powerbands.
