I went to a 10 mile ride tonight and battery gave error after 6th mile and board slowed down from fast to slow mode. and I turned it off and on, it is gone, it came back again and i did this 5 times, luckily made him home safe, so anyone had this problem? How to fix it?

Check the UART cable between the battery and motor controllers sounds like might be loose. That error norm communication error from battery to controller. Also check the plastic bits they plug into have not come loose. One is slightly under the wrap of the battery. Good luck! :punch::thumbsup::beers:

FYI, When there is that error the board will switch to slow speed by defualt no faster.

Not good, I checked everything and found two wires look damaged, all connections including the uart are secured...giving the chance to those broken wires being replaced, dang it. I was expecting an easy fix, something DIY but this looks like a pro fix that I cannot perform...

    update.

Shipping back for servicing. They will work on it under warranty. Hope it won't cost too much to ship it back to LA.

they change the circuit board on mine, apparently the power connection cable was off the board, they also send me silly letter saying I did something? I'm like, I really didn't touch anything and wouldn't, it is under warranty, why would I wanna fix myself when it was covered? Haha. I said whatever, now it is all good, knock on wood.
