Which BMS control chip is evolve using on the GTs?

    Hi,

Posting here, as it applies to both Carbon and Bamboo.. Has anyone opened up their battery and checked which chip handles the UART communication between the battery (in blue shrinkwrap) and the main controller board?

I was poking around and saw some bytes going from the controller to BMS, and then BMS responded with some stuff, like cell voltages etc. But I'd like to take a looksie at the datasheet so I can implement a proper logger for the battery (with an arduino or something). I suspect Evolve is using an off-the-shelf BMS, but even if it's a custom one, it will probably have some common-ish chip in it.

    Thanks!

Have you tried to sniff UART comunication between BMS and Mainboard?
