Carbon GT remote curtain out ... heat and stress on motors ...

So I have had my Carbon GT since May this year and using the following set of wheels on the board. Evolve 83s, Kegel 80s and ABEC 107s. For the first time ever my Gen2 remote started acting up when using the ABEC 107s. Slight cutting out when accelerating. This was especially after longer rides when the motors are hot.
Changed back to my Kegel 80s and problem has gone away.
Does anyone think the remote cutting out may be a function of too much stress on the motors when using larger wheels. When I changed up to the ABEC107s I changed to 38T gear. Since changing back to 32T Gear and 80s, seems to be smoother. Also could be a function of not going quite so fast on 80s vs 107s for longer periods of time since the 107s are ideal for fast long carving making to carving on snowboard at speed, vs more surfy carving on 80s.
I definitely am wondering about the too much stress on motors with larger ABEC's.
    Thoughts welcome.

I’ve had similar issues in past on 107s, especially up hills under hard acceleration.

The cuts were unnerving and I retired board in favor of others. Later I went to trouble shoot in order to make it a buddy board. I’ve got both r2 and 1st gen remotes. I don’t think it was the remotes. Also, these motors don’t have a temp sensor. I’ve gotten them hot enough to burn my shin when I ran them in a full diy build. They are still fine.

I bet this is voltage sag. Your esc/bms will cut draw to protect lipos. How many miles can you get out of board on a full charge? When my pack was at roughly half (7-9mi) of stock (14mi on 8in on AT) the cuts were frequent enough to go the 18650 battery pack route.
