Running on one motor?

I'm currently trying to convince Evolve to provide a replacement motor as I have had issues since first receiving my board. While I wait on getting a replacement motor one way or another, would it do any damage to the motor controller to the board with only one motor?

  2. I don't know about damage when running one motor but I'd imagine you'd lose a lot of power, and having the drive gear on the other wheel would cause some drag.

If they don't send you a replacement, Milly found our motors here

It might be a good source to get replacements. If you do this I wouldn't suggest running one stock and one aftermarket. You'd wanna use 2 of the same motor

You could always test it and find out but that lack of power wouldn't make for a good ride. If you do end up doing it let us know how it works out.

Hey, did you folks have any problems with connecting the racestar motors? I've plugged two of the 140kv motors into my bamboo GT and one spins the opposite way. Have been searching for solutions everywhere but nobody has seemed to have had this problem. Changing the phase wires is the usual solution, but these have different wire setup..
