VESC-X and Nano controller in a Carbon GT

Anybody done this? Had enough of issues with the evolve motor controller and remote, interested in subbing out the current vesc for 2 vesc-x and the nano remote. Hoping to keep the battery/bms/charging setup and maybe even the power switch.

 

Would love to see a setup that we can change out. The Evolve motor controller / remote is junk, too many defects for my liking. Sad since the board has / had so much potential if Evolve didn't cut corners there with money and QA. If I owned a board company I'd make sure that part of the board is solid, the rider's safety literally rides on this.

 

They use something similar to a ESC rather than a VEST I believe.

I will say though, after I had my issues fixed, the board had been great.

I wish I could say the same, mine hasn't been fixed and they left me out in the cold. Feels like owning a damn Ford Pinto which I paid a Ferrari price for.
