New GTX caught fire.

Hi! I’m Peter from the Netherlands. I bought the gtx a few weeks ago. Wanted to ride yesterday but the battery showed empty. Today I couldn’t drive at all. Charging did not help. So drove to Sickboards where I bought it.

They tried to turn it on and the battery caught fire!! Smoke fire and heat. Smelled terrible.

Bye bye GTX... so the have send it to Evolve for repair.

Sickboards did gave me a Boosted to use in the mean time. Just came back from my first ride. Walking... cause the battery was empty

Hope they repair it soon!!

Are you driving an Evolve for a long time now? Happy with it?

 

I'm riding a Carbon GT since 02 2017. Besides a really hard crash (my fault) I didn't have any problems, so yes I'm happy.

 

GTX is back! So the reason was water damage. Service was good.

I haven’t driven through full rain but is dis get wet sometimes because of wet soil.

No for my GTX anymore!
