When I ordered mine (as soon as I received the email) the estimated delivery was late January! USA, Texas. What is the wait time for you guys?

 

really curious about the new acceleration curve. wish it was changeable though....3x slower of a take off might be to mellow..

 

end to end the throttle starts and finishes at the same values so just pull it harder and the result will be the same.

 

ahh got it. I like it. think i may have been the first to pre order in the US. hope they find an extra laying around and ship it out!

 

to be honest i think a longer curve will ad to the sense of rider engagement by giving the feeling of getting a fist full of the trigger rather than feathering it.

 

The new acceleration curve is much better as I was lucky to get one. You do need to get to used to it.

 

I ordered mine from the official German site (i live in the Netherlands) totally expecting it to take a month or two but i got it within a week. So even tho the site says they're out of stock, you might get lucky.

I got a the new remote with a bamboo GTX to ride alongside by Carbon....still undecided. Acceleration and breaking curve better, but overall pros and cons to the R2. I've already replace the R2, first didn't shift up / down correctly then lost all buttons. New R2 has fixed that so long as I stay in MPH rather than kilometres...not a big issue but I'm finding the remote is not holding the charge for long and seems to drain when off for a couple of days. Probably a few teething issues still to iron out but over should be a better end result.

 

Ok, after several uses of the new remote. The battery on the new remote is pretty bad. Bring a power bank with you at all times.

Wow, i just checked mine, I got it Saturday. I charged it 100% and put it back in the case. Just got it out to check (havent been able to ride because it has been wet outside for the last month) it's completely dead..... Haven't even turned it on.

 

Is it worth sending in my remote as well? It seems to lose charge even tho it is turned off. @Andy ?
