IMG_0099.JPG IMG_0099.JPG Ive had my Bamboo GT now for a little while and I really enjoy it! No issues whatsoever at this point. I swap between my AT & 97s which is great just knowing you have the freedom to ride anywhere.

Today, I noticed that my motors are sitting uneven and not parallel to each other. I've tried adjusting both with no luck.

Anyone else had this happen to them carbon or bamboo GT?

    If so, is it normal?

    Thanks

could be the mounting plate? check to see if there is any damage
also, does anyone know if the motors are 3000w? or are they 1500w each?
some articles say combined 3000w, but I was sure they are 3000w each

I checked on my brand new (I've only had it since Oct. 6th) Bamboo GT and mine are straight and even with each other. I would agree with
    W. Jordan and check the mounting plate, but make sure the three bolt that attach the mounting plate are straight. It looks like one side might have some bent bolts. I can't think of a reason that this would affect your riding, other than you might notice a small pull to the left just because its not making as much contact with the ground. Maybe.

ive seen a few posts about this on FB, apparently some say its with the matching of the plates used, but i would think they are all the same, but who knows.

Good point, the mounting plate could have gotten accidentally flipped when the board was put together. It would be only a little bit off.

Thanks for the reply! However, as far as I can remember it was parallel initially when I received it. When I started swapping setups is when I noticed it.

My board is at evolve being repaired, and I brought up the unevenness of the motors that look similar to you. They said it was entirely cosmetic. Either way, not thrilled about how it looks.

Yeah I wouldn't be happy with it either and would get it sorted. Be interesting to find out what it was

Nearly everyone's are like this that I have seen. Can someone take a photo of their board if it isn't like this with uneven motors?

The motors on my Bamboo GT are like that now after swapping to the AT wheels. My friend with the same board has even motors, but my board is faster! & I weigh 20lbs more :)
So, I don't think it will affect anything..

My is a few weeks old and the motors are perfectly level. It is probably the mounting holes slightly out of alinement on the trucks but like other comments it's a cosmetic thing. Easy to fix.

motors not level is just cosmetic - (belts take care of this) - it's just the QC on a $1500 USD eskateboard should be better

I passed on one like this in the shop where I bought my Bamboo GT from - wonder if that board had a gimpy remote - hmmmmmmmm ? (lol)

Most GTs I've seen do this. It's related to the torque backlash from each motor. The right motor usually sits lower..

As others have said it's just your mounting plates. There is just enough play in the screws that they can go uneven. If you loosen them you can adjust them.

Do you mean adjust the mounting plate on the truck ?
