A video says a thousand words..

New Motor arrived.. I fit it but whichever motor is plugged into hall2 won't start unless it's prompted.. the motor also sounds like it is braking while accelerating.. new motor is considerably louder than not so new motor.

Diagnostics on the remote say it is rotating slower than hall1 too.

Any ideas? Maybe motor control board got rooted when the motor went?

I tried unplugging everything and resyncing but same same..

    Sorry to hear that......unlucky.

What I would do next is swap the motors connections to the motor controller - the cables should be long enough. This should prove if the issue is the motor controller or the motor itself.

I.E. If motor controller the old motor will need the push and the new motor will operate normally - with the connections reversed.

Yep thanks I tried that, it's def the board. I took the board out and express posted it to evolved. Nick is going to look at it and hopefully sort me out quickly :)

I'm hanging out to get back on the board!

Ah great - solution on the way then.....

Just that endless wait now until delivery - with boarding opportunities no doubt appearing constantly to torture you

New Motor controller board on its way to me. Hopefully it arrives tomorrow and I'm back cruising on the weekend
