Hey all! I went through the manual but still have a couple questions about the remote battery:

    1) Is there a way to check the current charge on the battery?
    2) When the blinking red empty battery symbol comes up, how much time do we have of riding before we need to charge?
    3) Has anyone tried to use an external battery pack to charge remote while using it to ride? I'm a little worried if no one has tried this that it could lead to the board malfunctioning in some way with signals from the remote (if it wasn't designed to be used and charged at the same time)

Thanks y'all! Love my board it has changed my life/the way I get around the city.

I find the remote battery lasts about 3 full board charges, I have had it die on me which is a bit scary when going 20 mph.
I've also used a portable battery to charge while using it and have not had any issues.

What happened when the remote battery died? Did the board break, or did it just roll out?

Had this issue (low battery warning on remote) once, but it did not run dry completely, so I was able to finish my ride ;-)

Does the led on the remote not indicate the charge level?

Nope, there is no indication of the remote charge, apart from the low power warning. Perhaps in the 5th round of firmware they could add this, as it is a pretty important thing to have both board and remote battery level
