Hey guys, I just swapped out my AT wheels for street wheels. When I was removing the rear AT wheels one of the drive bearings remained on the axel. I thought this was pretty odd.

However, I for the life of me can not get that bearing off the axel! I know I can just put the other drive right over it, however my issue is that eventually that bearing will need to come off. either for cleaning or maintenance.

I pulled on it as hard as i could and it just would not come off, so i just left it and put the other drive over it. Anyone else have this issue ever? Any advice on how to get that bearing off without damaging it? I am sure I can just take a wrench to it, but that will just mess it up or cause other damage.

the photo below is what it looks like, No idea why it would just be stuck on the axel. Also its spins and everything just fine, its just stuck.

Odd not see that before, maybe some lithium grease around the axel might help pull it off.

I swapped around my at wheels yesterday to make sure the wheels Wear evenly. On the right side drive axle I had scoring on it due to heat and grit. It may be wedged and overheated on. Try some pliers, but it may wreck the bearing

Yup, I wrapped it in cloth and just pried it off with a wrench. It was on there good!

how are you guys finding the street setup? (my Bamboo GT came like that) - I plan to go the other way soon (most of the roads around my house are rougher pavement) - super nice to road on newly paved parking lots (carving etc) with the street setup though - (tight turns etc - can't see doing that on AT)

I enjoy it. Obviously has limitations, but the extra speed , carving and , range is sweet. Also, you can actually carve really well with the AT wheels and make tight turns.

During manufacturing, the axel through the truck is ever so slightly not being centered in the truck. There is a very small lip that protruding out which is hard to see.

The bearing is getting stuck on this due to the tolerance. It can be pried off with a plastic wedge bar. Put a speed ring before the wheel next time to eliminate it.
