The good: A perfectly working Leiftech original board with extra battery and charger in lightly used condition.

    The bad: No controller.

I had purchased this for my 15 year old who used it some but decided it wasn’t for him (he just likes to long board with his friends) so I sold it on eBay, taking a bit of a loss. The guy who bought it stole the controller, said it wasn’t included, and eBay let him have his money back.

So I’m here trying to sell it. I have video of my son riding it just a few weeks ago, works in all modes, Miyagi mode all the way to fast mode, just don’t have a controller to go with it. Battery cover was JB welded on one of the retaining clips - works fine just slightly discolored at that joint. No belt covers, those weren’t on it when I got it.

Asking $650 obo plus shipping. Local pickup north of Nashville TN. I’ll figure out how to upload pics in a bit.

    Thanks,

Yes I have it. Just missed an eBay auction last month with an extra remote. If you have a bad board but a good remote this is a good replacement.

Remotes look available through their site for about $150. I'm interested but buying something without all working parts is concerning. You'd ship to Roanoke, Virginia?

They are not available. Those are Summerboard V2's which are 3rd generation boards.

This is an original Leiftech. Same company but an earlier version and incompatible bluetooth module as far as I know. You'll need an original Leiftech controller which is why the price is $650 and not $800+, although I need to lower the price a bit.

Bummer... Hard to justify purchasing without a remote. I'm sorry you got screwed by eBay like that. Very unfortunate. I'm going to dig around some and if I can find a remote or a way to pair other makers. I can see by your other thread you've done the same. I'm guessing you've not found a way to pair a different remote?

No, I even spoke to their customer support people. It's an older infrastructure and not hard to duplicate but I have yet to find anyone who has done so. That one board with the two remotes would have been perfect.

    Yes and No.

I finally found a controller and put it with the board and put it all on eBay. Some 0 feedback asshat in Hawaii bought it, I spent $120 bucks to ship it out there of which only $70 was paid for, he then claimed only one battery came with it, pulled the good battery and used the eBay Buyer Protection program to return it.

To add insult to injury he kept the charger too.

I'm filing a fraud claim with eBay. If I can find a charger I'll see what charge the remaining battery can hold (it wasn't much before, maybe 15 minutes of riding, the new 2nd battery was worth the price of his theft evidently) and then post it back up with pictures assuming the eBay people don't give me my money back. If they do and ask for the board back I'll gladly send them what I have.

I'm so disgusted with this I never want to see an electric snowboard/skateboard ever again. I might just burn it for the satisfaction of watching what's left burn.

Well at this point I'm not sure what eBay is going to do seeing as I'll probably sue them over it. That's $1,000 I'm out, the $840 including shipping to get it out there and having to pay $120 bucks for the ride back.

I even went to the trouble of fully charging everything before it went out there, with pictures of it all powered up, showing green for full charge on the charger, etc and posted them to eBay. Nothing.

This is why I'm retiring off-shore on my boat and everyone else can piss off down the drain of America.

So I guess what's a working board and controller and a crap battery worth to you?
