I only ride on AT wheels and never tried anything else, I like carving above anything else. How much better is carving on abec11's over at wheels? Is it worth getting them?

Twice as good, The lower board makes it a better feeling and smoother.

Abecs better on smooth surface for sure, but you can carve harder on AT setup because you have more grip.(On roads and concrete)

In my opinion the answer is yes, well worth it. Yes you can carve on the AT setup but you are so high up and the wheels are so different that it never really felt like carving to me. The 97s have the clearance you need to go over obstacles while still giving the smooth ride a good skateboard wheel gives you. You can’t beat the AT wheels for dirt and grass work but if you spend most of your day on pavement you won’t be disappointed with the Abec 11 97s. And the acceleration is better too ;-)

P.S. if you can get a set don't forget to order the two drive gears as well.
