    Hi all,

    I have started a small Drone Photography company name Red Kite Drone Co

    I am currently working through my Civil Aviation Authority Air Navigation licence so am unable to charge for my services yet. But am looking to get involved in anything I can in order to expand my portfolio.

    So if you need an aerial shot for your latest skate video, or

    I can offer:

    Aerial photographs
    Aerial surveying
    Reconnaissance
    Feature film making
    Precision agriculture
    Sports and event photography
    Wedding photographs and videos

    And just about anything involving an eye in the sky.

    How far into your CAA are you I'm looking at doing this my self also any info or advice on setting up my own drone service would be well received

    Sweeet! I nearly bought one at the Gadget Show back in March (I think). That's when I got my Evolve Board too actually!

    I was hoping to get some ariel shots around Richmond Park in London but I was dissuaded by a photographer friend who warned me about how strict the regulations are over here and all the hoops you have to go through with the CAA if you want to fly commercially for any sort of monetary gain whatsoever, so I left it for the time being.

    Funnily enough though, was riding my board around the park a few weeks later and some dude whips a DJI out the boot of his car and sends it chasing after a herd of deer! :see_no_evil:

    Probably got some sweet footage out of it. He gave me the impression though that most of his flying had to bend the rules in order to capture what he really wanted.

    I'm in the process of setting up a race track event which would provide an awesome opportunity for some drone footage if anyone is interested?

    The rules are there for safety and mostly common sense. If you stick to them you will be fine. London is difficult because of the 50 metres of buildings and not in crowded places rules :(

    Once I get my PfCO licence i can practically fly where i like

    Let me know when this event is taking place I have a DJI Mavic pro that can film it for free. I have an interest in electric skateboard and I also play Segway Polo. I would love to try out the evolve before I invest and maybe we can swop footage for a trial ride. Cheers
