    Hey all!

So this is the second day with my bamboo GT and on day 1, with AT wheel setup, I was getting top speeds (without load) of 25-28 mph, today, I switched to street setup (and made sure to adjust the remote accordingly), and now I'm only getting 22 mph without load. What had happened? At some point I did get belt slip due to a motor mount tightening issue, and the issue seemed to arise after that, even when I thoroughly fixed it, and the weather did drop in temp. and it started to feel like rain, but would these issues limit the non-load, recorded top-speed, from 28 to 22 mph? Any help or experience would be greatly appreciated. Right now I'm charging and warming the board to see if the problem reverts, but maybe I've got an issue that seems familiar? Thanks again, McHale

To me it sounds like the remote got stuck in lower setting.. like an eco.. though im not totally sure. Better wait till some other ppl hop in to respond.. unless you got it ''working'' again by now :)

I also dont think that switching something 'mechanically' would cause such problem if the gears are the same etc..

i think your remote was wrong setting for AT wheels as you dont normally get 28mph with them thats for sure!

You're probably right Andy. Not to mention the temperature had dropped quite significantly. After charging it last night and riding it today in 70 degree weather, I'm pretty sure the speeds are exactly where they should be. Thanks for the response. :) Now to test the range....;)

You didn't change the remote mode. Your speedo is off. Go into the settings and change the remote to to whatever size street wheels you are using

Intersting, I was about to say that varies a lot compared to the figures I added to the FAQ when launching the site, then I realised is was mph vs kmph :p

How Fast can I go on the Evolve GT?

Soo, turns out I wasn't nuts, and there was indeed something wrong. The left motor came with a very tiny imbalance that increased over time, and caused a lot of overheating issues. Evolve, being the sick-nasty company they are, watched my quick video and immediately sent out a replacement motor! I flippin love EVOLVE!
