Anybody out there make custom grip tape for the Evolve Carbon Street, or know someone that does ?

you can do your own, just grab yourself some some new Grip tape and replace it, or did you want to know about different designs?

Yes I thought maybe there might be someone creating some really cool designs by now for the Evolve boards. Thanks for taking the time to answer very good of you.

I did mine the other day for the Carbon GT though, but out hexagon shapes, with the green 97mm wheels, kind of ended up looking like a turtle board

Quite easy to do you own, just draw on back or grip, cut out and trim down if needed.

Just be careful on the carbon some people found if they want to take back off sometimes it takes a layer of clear coat off the deck.

Seem some great designs out there, some people have done the top of the battery cover and looks quite cool!

Where's a good place to buy some new grip tape in the UK Andy? Might completely redo mine so it's solid, for maximum grip.

Most local skate shops will carry it. People say Mob grip tape is good but I find Jessup to be a great quality grip. I'll post a photo tomorrow.

I just used skatehut or in past anywhere really online has a design I like. Not too many normal skate shops around these days to go visit that has decent range:thumbsup:

Here is mine, easy to do, and the design I cut out makes it easy for me to replace any spots that wear out :)

Cool design! You could get some coloured grip tape too and mix up the hexagons with a few splashes of colour.

  12. Great work guys. I have a Bamboo GT and love the default look, but have re-gripped a few of my other boards with success. You can buy decent grip tape on ebay in any length you like. I use this product:

Top Quality Longboard Grip Tape 10" x 48" Various Colours

If you message them they do custom sizes :)

Tim, do I need to buff the surface of the bamboo gt for the grip tape so it can stick on it easier and won't come off? That's the trick as I heard. Or would be ok just apply over the surface without anything else? Let us know bud.

You will have to use an electric sander before you apply any new grip on the Bamboo

Thundercats, hooooo! Man that brings back memories as a kid. I used to have one the swords, it lit up and everything, way better than an electric skateboard at the time. Now I think I'd rather go for the skateboard...but it's still a close call

    Board looks great!
